Charting the Course Behind the Scenes
By James and Andy Teague, Co-Founders, High Tide Yacht Charters
From 28 September to 1 October 2026, we attended the 3rd CRO.Y.A Yacht Show in Croatia, and we were so impressed with the wide selection of yachts on offer. We spent the days stepping aboard, meeting captains and crews, and tasting what each yacht does best. Five crewed catamarans stood out for us, and here they are, along with why we recommend them to our clients.
A crewed catamaran charter is about more than the boat. The captain, chef and hostess shape your week, from the route you sail to the food on the table, so we paid as much attention to the people as to the yachts.
1. ZORA NUA: HeySea 60

ZORA NUA is a brand new HeySea 60 this year, and the quality of the build impressed us. She sleeps 10 guests in 5 en-suite cabins, which makes her a strong choice for a larger group who want everyone to have their own private bathroom. We expect to see more HeySea catamarans come onto the charter market over the coming years, and ZORA NUA is a good reason why.
She is crewed by Captain Alexandar, Hostess Adriana and Chef Luka, who came third in the show's Chef competition. James had the pleasure of having lunch on board on 30 September, and it did not disappoint. The main course was a beautifully cooked pork dish, followed by an olive oil and white chocolate mousse for dessert, with wine pairings from Korčula and Promisten that suited each course perfectly.

2. FARBEN: Bali 5.8

FARBEN is a Bali Catamarans 5.8, and her design shows why the model is so popular. The signature rigid foredeck and garage door open the saloon up to the cockpit and the outdoors, creating an expansive and open living space. She sleeps 8 guests in 4 cabins and has a standout master cabin. FARBEN also carries an electric-powered paddleboard, a lovely touch for guests who like to explore quietly at anchor.
The crew is what really sets her apart. Captain Vinko has an amazing knowledge of the Adriatic, while Chef Lucia took first place in the Chef competition. Hostess Lucijda brought amazing energy to everything she did, and won the Tablescape Competition and third place in the Cocktail Competition. Together, the crew took home three awards at the show. Lucia and Lucijda have worked together for five years, having started out together on The Yacht Week, and that long partnership shows in how smoothly the yacht runs.

3. NOMAD: Lagoon 55

NOMAD is a 2022 Lagoon 55 based in Trogir, with space for 8 guests in 4 cabins. Her crew is Captain Damir, whom we nicknamed the Croatian James Bond for his effortless style, and Hostess and Chef Marija. On the Monday evening of the show we were invited aboard for a wine tasting, with Royal Dongec on offer, which was a true treat. She also has a great tender for enjoying the water sports.
We like the four-cabin layout for two families, four adult couples or a celebration. NOMAD also offers charters from Wednesday to Wednesday, which lets you sail just ahead of or just behind the crowds that typically change over on Saturdays. Trogir is only about 15 minutes from Split, so she is easy to reach for guests flying in.

4. TRIWING ENDOR: Lagoon Sixty5

TRIWING ENDOR is a Lagoon Sixty5 built in 2024 and based in Marina Kaštela, sleeping up to 8 guests. She is all about space, with expansive decks and an amazing foredeck that features a conversation pit, perfect for relaxing together in the sun.
The flybridge is enormous, and the master cabin is a real highlight. For guests who love the water, TRIWING ENDOR also comes with a jet ski and a beach club, which makes her a great choice for a group who want a lot of space and plenty to do on board.

5. AMBER ONE: Sunreef 70 Power
AMBER ONE is a Sunreef 70 Power catamaran for 8 guests in 4 equal cabins, so nobody has to take the smaller room. A power catamaran lets you cruise between the islands more efficiently than a regular sailing catamaran, giving you more time at anchor and ashore while still enjoying the journey.
The crew is a major selling point. They have been together for over 10 years, and they have created a bespoke cocktail list that is unique to AMBER ONE.
Which crewed catamaran is right for you?
If you have a larger group and want every guest to have an en-suite cabin, ZORA NUA is the one to look at. If you want an award-winning crew and a bright, open saloon, FARBEN is hard to beat. NOMAD suits two families, four couples or a celebration, especially if you want the flexibility of a Wednesday start. ZORA NUA is a great fit for families with a group of up to 10. If you want maximum deck space, with a conversation pit, an enormous flybridge, a jet ski and a beach club, TRIWING ENDOR is the one for up to 8 guests. And if you would rather cover more ground between the islands in comfort, with four equal cabins and a long-standing crew, AMBER ONE is well worth considering.
