Benefiting from natural protection against the mainland, the Ionian Islands offer favorable cruising conditions throughout the season. While the Ionian remains delightful year-round, it is especially appealing for chartering in July and August, avoiding the strong Meltemi winds prevalent in the Cyclades during this period.
